DV-Hop Location Algorithm Based on RSSI Correction

To increase the positioning accuracy of Distance Vector-Hop (DV-Hop) algorithm in non-uniform networks, an improved DV-Hop based on RSSI correction is proposed. The new first quantizes hops between two nodes by ratio value and benchmark value, divides continuously, calculates average hop distance according to Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) criterion best index quantized hops, then adds matching factor fitness function each anchor node into calculation weight function. change introduced obtain more accurate estimation error unknown (UN) coordinate modified using relationship UN nearest beacon (BN), coordination position further triangle centroid improve irregular network. experimental results show that compared with original DV-Hop, DV-Hop1, DV-Hop2 DV-Hop3, localization this paper reduced 58%, 45%, 34%, 29%, respectively, average, network environments. Without increasing hardware cost energy consumption, has excellent performance.
